First of all, if you buy this, you probably should stay at home and wait for the UPS, because is not easy to be taken home.
I have read some of the reviews says it's not easy to be assembled, but i didn't feel that way, it is pretty easy to be done.
The material quality seams ok, don't expect it to a nice quality one for this price.
It's about the right height if you just put a mattress on, but i dont like that way. I put on a thin bed pillow top bought from IKEA, which make me feel really comfortable.
I dont think you need the head board, it's too expensive for the bed price.

the bed was made with poor materials, the predrilled holes did not line up & it didn't come with all the parts

this is a good sturdy product. it doesn't come with a head board for those wondering (read the product description).
It was easy enough to setup, but I feel the order of assemble could have been better. I suggest you read the whole thing first then assemble it.

As long as there are 2 people working to put it together you will be fine. Its a good bed for first time bed owners. I like it alot

This bed platform looks great and gets the job done at a reasonable price. The instructions, however, were horrendous. The pieces were poorly identified and it was a follow the picture step by step style instruction manual and the pictures didn't even match up. I have put together a half a dozen pieces this week alone, and this was by far the worst instruction manual I have seen.
