Ok item. I ordered this because it was pretty inexpensive. But you get what you pay for. It came in about 30 pieces of wood. It took me hours to put together. In the instructions it said don't use a drill, but that actually seems like the best way. It's better than using a hammer and screwdriver and having lots of blisters on your hands when you finish. I would only advise buying this if you are handy or have someone handy to put it together for you.

Before I purchased this product from Amazon, I had looked at different furniture stores as well as [...] With that said, Amazon had the best deal. I saved a good $50-150 dollars here, along with free shipping. It even got here earlier than expected. It was easy to set-up with my Husband and took less than an hour with the two of us. Directions are easy to follow. It's a great look for our bedroom and I highly recommend this product if you've been looking at it for a while!

i love the look and color of the bed! and honestly setting it up wasn't that hard. but there are so many imperfections! and i don't just mean what you can cover with the marker they provide. there are chips at the ends of some of the pieces, but those don't show so i wasn't worried. my biggest problem with it is that the side pieces that have the finish`and go around the top part were made the opposite way! meaning, its supposed to have a slight slant or curve toward the outside of the bed, which would look really nice, except mine came with the curve toward the inside. and you can't just switch it bc there are grooves that make it go a certain way! very upsetting because the bottom of the bed piece was made right, so they aren't aligned :/ other than that i think its a pretty satisfactory product.

Great inexpensive platform bed! We were told it was a great place to put our new memory foam mattress, and it saved us the added cost of buying the box spring.

I cannot review the quality of this product as I cannot assemble it. After picking up the "bruised" box from UPS I unpack everything to discover no screws or fasteners of any kind. All the wood pieces are in good order and the finish looks unblemished (sparkling, aside from a little dust from sitting in the warehouse.) I've already called South Shore to request another hardware pack (Left a message as they were closed). I will update this review as things progress. Hopefully just a bad apple of a shipment.
