The overall design is solid and of good construction. The wood feels solid and sturdy. My only problem with this nightstand is the drawer. It does not have rollers/wheels to pull out smoothly. When you pull it out to far it hangs down. There is a wooden peg that keeps the drawer from falling all the way out. I love the color and it is of nice quality overall. Good buy for the price, especially if the drawer will not be used very much.

I bought two of these for bed side tables. They were easily assembled and look really great in the space. I was so impressed I bought two more for the living room. They shipped super fast and were a breeze to assemble, although I used a power drill to help build the drawers to make sure they were really tight. ( I also ignored the peg to "stop the drawer from falling out", works fine with out and it was a pain to try and figure out ) They are pretty sturdy and are the perfect fit for both living and bedroom. I would reccomend these tables for anyone on a budget that likes quaility pieces. Two Thumbs up!

For $35 these are a steal. I bought a pair to use as nightstands. The finish looks good and assembly was a breeze and after everything was properly tightened the tables were fairly sturdy. To respond to the reviewers who complained about the screws going through the tops of the tables - make sure you follow the instructions! There are 12 big screws included in the box - 4 mid-length ones for the top and 8 longer ones for the sides. If you use the correct screws then you won't have a problem with them going through the tabletops.
I give this four stars because the quality was better than I expected for the price. It's important to keep your expectations set properly - this is inexpensive, assemble-at-home furniture, not a high end pre-built endtable from a furniture store. Still, these look and feel a lot better than other options in the price range.
Great value, but not consistent quality control August 9, 2010

I bought a pair of these end tables. They look great and you can't beat them for the price. I found the quality to be inconsistent and had to request 3 replacements for one of the end tables that came with partially unfinished tabel top, then the color didn't match and finally the third was close to the original color and quality. The tables seem to be sturdy and look great once you get undamaged pieces. They were easy to put together, just use the screws and allen wrench included.
 Very unstable and shaky table July 22, 2010

I completed assembling the table exactly the way as instructed in the manual. The final completed table was very shaky and unstable. It shakes like a pendulum. I am very upset with this product.
I had spent 2 hrs assembling this night table but the final product was completely unsatisfactory. The table is shaking from two places. One, from the top where the four legs are fixed with the top surface (or the drawer). Second, from the bottom, where the four legs are connected with the lower shelf.
With full respect i would request the seller to improve this product.
I am planning to throw it away and get a new one from IKEA.
