Good for an inflatable bed, but beware of deflating. February 2, 2010 S. Bates Being able to keep this bed plugged in and simply push a button to inflate it is wonderful. It's high like a real bed, you can fit sheets to the top section and add a skirt to the bottom if you wish (both included).
This next part is biased so take it with a grain of salt, but we bought this bed from a seller claiming it to be new, but we received a used one. This bed did not stay inflated all night, and by the morning we (two young 130-170lbs adults) were sinking into each other. It had to be re-inflated at least once a night. Luckily that was just by the push of a button, but still extremely annoying. We were using this as a temporary bed after moving until we bought a real one, so it was slept on every night for 2-3 months. It was pretty comfortable while we could stand the deflating, but soon were so annoyed with it we bought a real bed. Again, this deflating issue was with a slightly used one, I don't know if new ones would have the same problem.
Aerobed stinks. October 22, 2009 Amazon user (Chicago, IL) I have used this aerobed mattress less than 10 times for guests over the period of 15 months and it leaks. With the 3 layers, it is hard to find the leak, and the warranty on this is only for 1 year, doesn't matter how well used it is, or not. Best they could do was offer me some advice on patching it, or 25% off a new mattress. Given that we spent almost $300 on this thing, there is no incentive not to buy a super cheap one and wait for it to leak, and replace it as necessary, same as I will have to do with this $300, albeit comfortable, piece of junk plastic. Do yourself a favor and if you are looking for add'l guest space, just get the cheap one and replace it when it too leaks.
Do NOT recommend this product August 23, 2009 K. Pieters The bed leaked air the first time we used this product. After being very embarrassed that our guests had a restless night sleep, I called the company. They said that most of the leaks were through the pump and sent us a new pump. I aired the bed up and again it leaked air. We did not get one good night sleep out of this bed.
good quality August 7, 2009 J. Brewer (AR) We purchased this bed a couple years ago because we move around a lot a wanted someting lite weight. The bed is easy to inflate and deflate and does not require you to keep adding air into it like some other cheaper beds do. The only problem we have with it is if two people are sleeping on it you do tend to roll to the center of the bed. Also it does not give great shoulder support. The bed is adjustable for firmness but to make it to firm is not comfortable to sleep on. Overall good quality bed.
leaks! July 26, 2009 Chloe LeChat (El Cerrito, CA USA) This bed seemed fine the first time I used it for a guest. I put it away in its duffle for 2 months. When I set it up the next time for my daughter it had developed a slow leak and was unusable.
