This item has a lot of reviews, and I agree with most of them. For the price, the quality of this piece is fairly good.
Solid wood construction and well finished. Seems very durable.
When I purchased it a month ago, the price was $260... now it's up to $350. I'm not sure what that's about, but if your patient perhaps it will go back down.
Shipping was about $100. Making the total $370 with tax and shipping for me. I wouldn't want to spend more than about $450 with shipping for this item, otherwise I would just go to a furniture store and get free delivery and set-up.
What else to say. Very well packed... almost too well. It took me about the same time to clean-up the cardboard and packaging as it did to set-up the bed!!

we were very pleased with the daybed. The task to assemble took less than an hour. Our 7 yr old son was surprised with the trundle. we would reccomend this daybed.

I am so impressed with this bed, I'm writing my first Amazon review. I searched high and low over the course of a couple months for a trundle daybed that was not too expensive. I settled on this one after reading the other good reviews. The order came within 14 days in 2 large HEAVY boxes. We put it in the guest room in our new home, and 2 people put it together in a couple hours. It's nice, heavy wood, seems well made and I've gotten several compliments on it. Nobody can believe I ordered it on Amazon for $200ish bucks! I think is an excellent find!

I ordered this daybed because everything I looked at was either cheaply put together or very expensive. I was putting it in my spare room for when my grandson stays the night and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on it. It was fairly easy to put together although, one of the main bolts wan not tapped correctly and my husband, being a tool maker had to fix it before we could finish. Other than that it went together fine. My grandson loves it!

I ordered a daybed and trundle from An amazon vendeor because I have never had any trouble and I have always been impressed with the service. I placed my order, didnt hear anything for 12 days, then when it said that it shipped and I was given a shipping number, it never left the warehouse. I waited 7 days and the item still hadnt been picked up to be shipped to me. I finally cancelled my order because I didn't want to wait three weeks to get the daybed. WOULD NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS VENDOR AGAIN.
